• The 2012 CMSO meeting schedule is as follows:

  All active members must attend the first and second MANDATORY meetings and
  ONE of the remaining three meetings.  If you are unable to attend our
  MANDATORY meetings, it is your responsibility to attend similar meetings at other boards. A list of boards and contact persons are listed below.

New!!! Concussion Course requirement for CMSO..

Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulation 105 CMR 201.000: Head Injuries
and  Concussions in Extracurricular Athletic Activities requires officials to successfully

complete the National Federation of High Schools concussion  course.

Step by step directions to take concussion course

1. Go to: http://www.nfhs.org
2. Click on ‘EDUCATION” on left side of screen.
3. Click on “COACH EDUCATION”
4. Under “Courses” at the top of screen, click on “FREE Courses” and then “Concussion in Sports-What you need to know”
5. This will bring up a screen saying “Elective Course: Concussion in Sports-What You Need To Know- FREE COURSE!” Click on “PLEASE LOGIN TO ORDER” (You don’t have to pay for this course
6. Under “Sign in Here”, click “REGISTER” to register as a new user.
7. Complete Registration and click submit
8. When your account is created successfully, click “HERE”. You will then go through steps 4 and 5 again clicking “Order Now” and clicking CONTINUE when prompted “I am ordering for myself”
9. Save the state as MASSACHUSETTS and click CHECK OUT
10. Complete your purchase and Click “here” to begin course immediately.
